the people behind WOB

WOB began as the collective effort of a group of women who are directly or indirectly part of boards of directors, and who see, in practice, how the absence of diversity often leads discussions to the same places and conclusions, as well as how different perspectives are able to shine a new light on conversations, promoting ESG, innovative solutions and strategic alternative standpoints.

Driven by the importance of measuring the practical impact of having more women on boards, the founders decided to organize the certification process for such boards – once certification becomes part of the culture, it is possible to monitor the effective impact of diversity.

Acknowledgement is the first step towards generating effective indicators of the globally proven maximum: diversity brings several benefits and improved corporate governance.
